On your iPhone
Decalcomanie processes your paintings and gestures on your device. The app does not require an account, include advertising or analytics SDKs, or send your artwork or usage activity to a developer-operated server.
Local information
Small tutorial preferences are stored on your device to remember the hints you have seen. The current painting is not automatically saved as a permanent gallery. Save artwork you want to keep. Deleting the app removes its local preferences; device backups are managed separately by Apple.
Photos and sharing
When you choose to save an image or video, iOS may request permission to add it to Photos. You can paint without this permission. The app does not request access to browse your existing photos. Sharing passes the selected file to the app or service you choose, under that service’s privacy practices. Saved files remain in their destination until you delete them and may sync according to your settings. You can manage photo permissions in iOS Settings.
Temporary video files
Export creates a temporary video on your device. The app attempts to remove it when sharing completes. A later export checks for abandoned export folders more than 24 hours old and removes them.
